What we do
Emayani provides training, resources and support to a whole host of growing, female-led businesses in East Africa.
We work with a range of partners to help meet the specific business needs of African women, particularly those living and working in rural areas.
Partnerships
Our sister organisation Sheba Tours provides a platform for Emayani businesses by stocking products for sale at their lodge and offering workshops with makers as part of tour packages.
Our other sister organisation Globalmama supports our work in the UK.

Mentoring
At Emayani, we believe in women empowering other women to fulfill their potential and achieve great things. Pairing budding entrepreneurs with successful business women across a range of sectors helps them to nurture their entrepreneurial vision. Mentors provide a source of advice and can build meaningful relationships that inspire mentees to succeed.
We need more mentors! If you are a female business owner and you are interested in using your success to inspire others, we would love to hear from you.
Skills & Training
Emayani equips African women with the tools they need to create and grow their businesses. Time and again, we at Emayani have met with African women who have incredible skills but lack the business understanding to take their skills to market. That is why we offer business development training to ensure these women have a good grasp of key business concepts, such as setting costs and target demographics, and know the best way of packaging and marketing their products/services to reach the right audiences and make a profit. We offer training in the following areas:
Creating a Business Plan, Goal Setting, Management, Accounting, Business Law, Product Design, Product Packaging, Marketing.
